- Dupont Circle: Dupont Circle is another iconic area of Washington DC. Luckily this area is easily accessible by metro so you don’t have to walk here in the cold weather.

Start where U Street meets 14th and make your way to the many popular coffee shops and restaurants on U street. Pop in and out of places as you escape the cold weather. - Visit The White House: Another very famous indoor attraction is the White House. You will need to prepare ahead of time if you want to tour the White House. Public tours must be requested through your Member of Congress and their Congressional Tour Coordinator.
